The Nursery was established by Wakefield Local Authority within the St Swithuns Community Centre, to provide fee paying full day care aged from birth to school age.

Children are able to attend flexibly to meet individual needs and will be cared for by qualified, experienced childcare professionals in a stimulating and welcoming environment.

The Nursery makes every effort to meet individual needs of children and their families. There are childcare places available to support learning opportunities at the centre.

The aims of the Neighbourhood Nursery are to help parents to go to work or education through local affordable childcare, and to give children a better start by offering quality childcare and early learning in good child centred environments.

Places are available from £3.45 per hour.
