St Andrews & St Swithun's
Our Church mission statement is:
"To introduce people to Church and help people through Christ."
St Andrews Parish Church meets on Sunday morning at 10.15am, (except for the first Sunday of the month when we meet at St Swithuns Community Centre at 10.15am).
Sunday evenings at St Swithuns Community Centre at 4 pm, (except first Sunday of the Month).
We are an evangelical Church of England congregation with a healthy mix of age groups and people.
Please call the minister Rev. Dawn Ingham if you have any enquires about baptisms, weddings or Alpha courses which we run from time to time. Call on 01924 375229 or the Parish office on 01924361212.
We also have a team of volunteers who visit the sick and elderly and can take Holy Communion out to those who request it.
St Andrews have good links with the local school and visit to lead assembles, help with lessons and run after school clubs. There is also a weekly KidZone meeting on Sundays at 10.15am at St Andrews Parish Centre. All young people are invited to this group and will be made most welcome, and parents can drop their children off and pick them up later or stay for the main service.
There is a ‘drop in’ style clothwork room at the Parish Church where people are welcome to explore working with fabric or simply need a cup of coffee, (closed Friday). This is at the St Andrews Christian Centre, which is adjacent to the Church on Peterson Road. Call 380197 for further details.
